Roland Griffiths
Roland Griffiths, PhD, was a professor of psychiatry and neuroscience at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and founding director of the Johns Hopkins Center on Psychedelic and Consciousness Research. He began his career researching the psychoactive effects of caffine and pivoted to studying psychedelics in 1999. Roland was a consultant to the National Institutes of Health and to numerous pharmaceutical companies in the development of new psychotropic drugs.
