Diana Winston

Diana Winston is a mindfulness teacher and writer who oversees mindfulness education for the Mindful Awareness Research Center at the Semel Institue for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA. She developed UCLA's evidence-based Mindful Awareness Practices (MAPs) curriculum and the Training in Mindfulness Facilitation (TMF), which trains mindfulness teachers worldwide. She has practiced Vipassana meditation since 1989 and spent a year as a Buddhist nun in Myanmar.
